I need help wiring my 3 prong plug
The colored wires are for the convenience of human beings - the electricity couldn't care less what color the insulator is. Regardless, if you don't know how to hook up a plug, you shouldn't be doing it. Take the wire and plug and lamp to someone who knows what they are doing and get it hooked up properly.
PC :smokin:PharmaCan Reviewed by PharmaCan on . I need help wiring my 3 prong plug Hello. I'm in France, and I bought a fluorescent lamp by OSRAM that came with wordless instructions for connecting the wires to the lamp (I had to buy the wires at a different store) so I bought the cable with blue, yellow/green and brown wires inside, and I bought a 3 prong plug, (well, here in france it's 2 prongs and one hole). I can't figure out what goes where and what's not supposed to be touching what in the plug. If I could find a pdf with pictures, I think I could figure it out. Rating: 5
