Ok with that my average is 66.??%




If i have a 100 point test, what is the worst i can get percentage wise and still pass the class (59.5% and above is passing)

I dont remember the equation I used, but I think I always needed the total amount of points that you have prior to the 100 point test.

100 x (total score so far + score on final) / (total possible so far + 100) = 59.5

Solve for "score on final" and plug in numbers for "total score so far" and "total possible so far."


This will be on next week's quiz...

Also, this kind of thing is usually pointless anyway --- just study and do well on the test, and don't worry about the worst you can do and still pass.
