Not to divert into another topic, but it relates to our desire to intervene in situations that we are not involved. We declared war on terror because of murder and violence overseas. Meanwhile, roughly 50+ people are victims of homicide every day in the United States. These are American citizens, killing American citizens. Would we allow another country to invade our homeland to battle inner city violence? Imagine Germany invading Los Angeles to fight the gang population? It is absurd... yet it is what we do to other countries.

The only reason I care though is because, well beside it being downright stupid as you pointed out, whatever America does, Australia follows. Same reason I want weed legalised in America, Australia will do the same.

The other thibg thats a crock of shit and our government is too stupid to understand is this sets presidence. What if Canada wants to press charges against Dick Cheney for war crimes and illegal kick backs from Halliburton. Do you think the US will turn that asshole over to Canadian authorities?
