uuhhh, what I really meant to say is that I have always had nothing but honor and respect for Senator John McCain and will be proud to call him my Forty Fourth President.

While I really don't expect him to do much for cannabis consumers, my reference to Arizona was kinda dopey I guess. I was thinking about the fact that the people of Arizona voted for Medical Cannabis in 1996, the same year as my native state of California, but I believe never put it into law. But, of course, that most likely just reflects the differences between the two States' Constitutions, and has little to do with the U.S. Senate. And really, since I do not live in Arizona, is none of my business. I love Arizona, btw, beautiful state!

In fact, in fairness, I've heard some conservatives like George Will argue against voter sponsored invitees saying that the real genius of our founding fathers was to give us a representative form of gov't and not just rely on a vote of people. I'm not sure if I agree, but I do see the logic in that argument. Personally, I want a gov't that delivers the will of the people and keeps its opinions to itself.
