That's a good article... I think it'd be even better if it had a source, not saying I doubt it, but sources are always a definite plus.

Neural activity is at its peak for me when I smoke only a moderate amount. I can tell when I smoke too much because I begin to feel more lazy and letharic because my muscles are more relaxed.

it basically has the source inside the article. it gives the journal and author and i believe the year of the published study it references. could be better definitely, but the info is in there.

Rather interesting... I'm rather stoned myself at the moment, but this seems to be some good signs for cannabis. If more research like this was done, unveiling similar results, the legalisation of cannabis should be a very possible thing within the next four to eight years.

i just think (stoned at the mo, ofcourse) the more you smoke the more you think, which means the more u ask, the more answers u get , the more knowledge you receive which makes you smarter,

There is not enough research on the suject because thay are expensive and there is no profit at the end of it. It is not all the other drugs the big pharmaceutical business is doing research on, they are the only capable of creating them, in other hand anyone can produce marijuana. The other thing, is that the permit to grow marijuana for experiment are not too easy to get... A research fund for this sound like an interesting thing to do, let me see if I can get some information on that subject.

The Cannadian gourvernement had a program started in 1999 on 5 years term... In 2000 the finally told us: "While a number of submissions made to the Health Canada /MRC Medical Marijuana Research Program were scientifically meritorious and were carefully considered, none of the highly rated proposals were judged to be consistent with Health Canada's priorities." Only two programs where given funds: Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Systematic reviews of the efficacy and safety of four medical uses of marijuana and University of Calgary Cannabinoids in the control of nausea and vomiting for a total amount of 304 240 CAN $. This is far away from the 7.5 M !

How about all of you spreading it around? Do a little "41 cent activism" and send your doctor/politician/Aunt Sally a few pages and the URL. Doctors don't know about cannabis- WE have to educate them (and the politicos know even less!). There was even a recent news article stating that Canadian doctors get most of their education on cannabis use from their patients! And medical cannabis is legal there!

If I can believe the responses from various sites, it is being passed around at an east coast medical college, random pages are being left at laundromats and college lounges in major cities, many family members are getting a copy or a section, and I've put it in the hands of various activists.

Look, by the time any SANE person gets through the first 5 or so pages, they should be convinced that it should be legal for medical purposes at the very least!
