I've got an appointment with the hospital's burn specialist tomorrow morning, so I'll be sure to update y'all soon as I can
Where did ya buy it from.......that's your first place to ask for information and if they don't supply it; well, let your lawyer take it from there. I'll bet there is somebody that'll work pro bono on a case like this.

    Have a good one!
Psycho4Bud Reviewed by Psycho4Bud on . Lighter Explosions Has anyone else here ever had a lighter explode in their face? Cause mine did yesterday... I have a torch lighter (mostly for novelty, burns too hot for smoking), and was adjusting the flame when the end cap popped off, exploding into a giant fireball right in my face... I just stood there for several seconds frozen before realizing my face was on fire (figuratively)! Rushed over the the university health center where they immediately sent me to the ER. Got triaged level 2 and was seen Rating: 5

    Lighter Explosions

Well... the good news is the partial thickness burns on my nose didnt get too deep, so I wont have to worry about scarring (good thing, considering I'm still working on my tumor removal scars on my hip; last thing i need is scars on my face...).

Lip's are dry as all hell tho, and peeling bad. Good thing is the cold here makes it look like i just have chapped lips and a cold red nose.. good cover for something like this. The burn specialist at the hospital predicts full recovery in 2-3 weeks.. not too bad considering how much worse having your face in the middle of an explosion could have been.
