Question about seeding
All,
My seeds arrived and I have 3 that have sprouted a taproot. I placed them in ready grow plugs and kept them warm and now the seedings have popped out of the plugs. However, they seem to still have the seed shells attached to them. At what point do I introduce them to light and how close. The lights that I have a T5 fluoros which I assume i use until they are ready (about 2 weeks?) to go into the vegatative mode. In the meantime do I keep out the light until I see green leaves? Do I keep them moist with regular RO water or should I use some sort of nutrient spray? The end result will be a Ebb and Flo hydro system I built. I can just transfer them into the hydroton net baskets and go from there correct?
Thanks in advance.

Question about seeding
Throw them under the light immediately. As soon as they sprout from your media, they will start stretching if the light is not strong enough. Place your light about 2-3" over the top of the sprouts and make sure you keep it adjusted so they don't smack into it.
As far as your moistening them, what media are they in? You said grow plugs, is that rapid rooters, rockwool cubes, etc.? Generally though, you will want to keep it moist, not wet, at all times. Use plain tap water, you don't have to add nutrients or worry about pH at this point.
