Read up on your botany and taxonomy.
Hops (Humulus lupulus) is the only other living member of the family Cannabacea. Reports of successful hybrids are out there, but I've never seen anything that can be confirmed. There are also reports on the Internet of Loch Ness Monster sightings.
You may graft cannabis onto a hop bine, but cannabis is an annual and hops is a hardy perennial and it's pretty much a waste of time since you will only get one season out of the graft before frost kills it or it flowers off and dies.
Hops is also quite susceptible to several viruses and mildews, which is why it is no longer a commercially viable crop in the US Northeast and many other areas with high summer humidity.
H. lupulus does produce a resin with similar, but weaker, effects to cannabis. The most notable is an anti-insomnia effect. I can personally vouch for the fact that it works well. The 'cones' (analogous to the female flower of the cannabis plant) are dried and smoked.
