You know what? Everybody can say blah blah blah no way it's gonna end, but really you don't know that, you are only saying that because it sounds extremely far fetched. Well, every one of Einstein's theories sound pretty damn far fetched at the time, so crowds of people would be standing around at the Ye Olde Cannabis.com Pub saying "No way it'll happen"


For some odd reason I reallllly always get drawn into this Mayan 2012 talk, mostly because it's the only real cosmic mystical prediction with what looks like decent certainty coming from the group of people predicting it that I'm ever gonna be alive to witness. Or not witness. I don't care. But I am certainly going to be excited to see what unfolds around that time -- I mean come on: the world is going to shit. Something major could very well happen coincidentally and the Mayans would look right whether or not they were. I dont know. I am reallllyy high...

It will be an end, not the end. As one era ends, another will begin. Life will progress massively towards a new collective consciousness, and humanity will evolve many of its trends and ideas. Lifestyle and dietary changes, along with an increased or decreased quality of life will thusly bring changes in physical traits and characteristics.

It is the perfect opportunity to launch my universal business entity. Life will always go on.

I believe that humanity is nearing an extreme reduction in population.

Resourses are running out and politicial and national powers are long since out of control. I also believe that nobody knows the truth.

Its very possible that something will happen soon, 2012 seems soon enough to me.

Worst case scenario:
Earth's magetic field disappears for a whole year in the process of switching poles. We will be bombarded by cosmic radiation that kills us all. We may not have any warning at all.

Lol you are correct. Because the process of switching magnetic poles is on average, around a couple hundred, to 1000 year process. What makes you think that the mixture of liquid iron and nickel, spinning around in the center of our planet giving us our magnetic field--by the way something that only switches up about every 100 to 500 thousand years (and were around 50,000 years into the latest switch)--is able to just reverse itself in one short revolution around the sun?

But in all honesty, the magnetic field is always there, however during that process the wave-form patterns will be extremely errattic until a new equilbrium has been found. Life is not wiped out or devastated by this switch and the extra radiation we receive; although we will be seeing some side-effects when the time comes. Seeing as how it will take place over a few generations at a minimum, though, it wont be as impactful as we may think.

The Mayan disaster that is supposed to occur in 2012 is believed to be related to a repeating disaster that comes every 6000 years or so, according to Mayan records. Coincidentally enough, this seems to correspond with the story of Noahs Ark, roughly 6000 years ago, and Plato's estimation of the destruction of Atlantis, around 12000 years ago. Its all very interesting to me, and I cant wait to usher the world into a new era when December '12 rolls around.
