    a few questions.

How do you go about mixing nutes. Like 4 different nutes that have the same things in them? Is this a good idea and can this be done.

If so how do I know how much of each nute to add to another before mixing in water to feed plants. I have a few different types of nutes and some have micros that others do not. I want to mix these nutes to have all that is needed but dont wanna overdo it.

    What should I do?

ok what i mean is can you mix
    N-P-Ks

    12-12-12 + 9-9-9 = 21-21-21

i would image that if you were to you would have to use double the water instead of one gallon use 2 then add each and should be fine. Just trying o figure out a way to get all trace elements along with secondary and the macros.
without having to wait before each feeding. Spent a load of money on my new box and just about broke. So can't afford more nutes at the moment.

if amounts of the nutes were equal in the equasion you need to divide by the number you have so 21/2=10.5

not a good idea to mix-n-match. find a good stand alone fert. and use a couple supplements for trace.

Mixing nutes together, as opposed to combining them in your solution, is a bad idea. (In other words, add the nutes one at a time to your water - don't mix all the nutes together and then add to the water.) You can mix different nutes, or different brands of the same nutes, but why would you want to? Like Bongojaz said, decide on a brand of nutes and go with them.

There's lots of good info about nutes on this forum, you just need to do a little research. It can be a little confusing at first, but keep in mind that you need your basic NPK nutrients and then you might want to add some supplements to that. A typical regimen might be Grow - Micro - Bloom (basic nutes) plus CalMag+ and Liquid Karma.

If all of that is too confusing, or too expensive, you could go with CNS17 which is a complete one-part nute (no need for supplements) that only costs $25/gallon.

im sorry i didnt specify, like they said, mixing liquid nutes isnt bad, but mixing say 2 different types of flowering guanos like indoneasian and jamacian guanos is ok

if you try and mix liquid nutes together you can lock them out where you cant absorb any nutes

I use FoxFarm liquid nutes, the 3-part growbig tigerbloom and bigbloom. On the schedule that came with it, it says that some of the liquids are to be mixed..... now do u mean that there should not be 2 different liquids mixed in the same water?? or that i should mix these 2 different liquids in one at a time into the same water??

    Please clrarify

I believe what they are saying is its not a good idea to actually mix the nutes together before mixing to water, i.e. you have a gallon of water and your going to use what 2-4 tbspns of one and like 2-4 teaspoons of another nute just mix the nute is the water one at a time do not mix the nutes together then mix into water as you could possibly get fumes or some sort of undesired chem reaction..

i also use the ff nute system of liwuid nutes.
i just mix the nutes into the water.

ie: i fill a gallon water bottle then add say..10cc;s of big bloom, 10cc;s of grow big, and 15 cc;s of tiger bloom.

im pretty sure your supposed to mix all three together in 1 gallon of water if i read the feeding schedule right......
