Overwatering is likely. A pH problem is also likely. Have you checked the pH of your runoff lately? Do that, and if it is out of range you will need to flush.
And you have given air temp, but if that plant is sitting on a cold basement floor, you will see that symptoms of overwatering and poor soil pH are greatly amplified.
I really hope you don't have root rot.

He is also technologically handicapped so that is why i am doing this. I am not sure what is wrong with this plant or if anything is wrong with it at all. The leaves seem to be curling inward but only the new growth ones and they also seem to be a lighter color.
