Long time herbalAire user here (among others). Not getting you very high? Strange. You get more THC with vapor than with smoke. Are you looking for couchlock? Not much of that there with vapor, since it's mostly toxic compounds responsible for that. With vaping, sleepiness comes with coming down, not with getting high. Lasting a really long time isn't the norm either. A lot of users say the vapor high is shorter, also probably due to the lack of couchlock compounds.

As for using the herbalAire as direct draw vs. a bag, the bag is much better IMO. As much as I love my herbalAire, direct draw is functional but not enjoyable. The hits are thin and a little warm unless you add a short piece of tubing to the extension.
