BTW I think you're wrong about it going straight to GC/MS. I have never seen a test go straight to GC/MS. They send them through immunoassay first then non-negatives are confirmed with GC/MS. They make more money this way and it's kind of written into the regulations and procedures this way regardless of who is testing the sample, Labcorp, quest, Knoll, etc. Sorry I used to have the link to this part of the procedure on the history on my computer but it go wiped out. A collector I know also says this, that they only go to GC/MS if there is a non negative on immunoassay first. It might say GC/MS on the chain of custody form but it still gets immunoassay first.
