Seasick Steve/ im a dumbass

Thought i would tell this story about my hero the hobo Blues Musician Seasick Steve and how im a dumb ass.

Went to see Seasick Steve at Reading festival, managed to push my way to the front of the stage. When he came out he went right up infront of me and did a cigarette lighter motion. I was so excited that he was looking at me but i couldnt give him a ciggy becuase i just ran out of them. He then went on to play an amazing show.

Now this is why im a dumbass.

A few days after the gig i was speaking to someone else who had seen seasick at another gig, she told me that he also did that lighter motion thing to someone in the crowd and instead of giving them a ciggy he gave him his lighter, which steve played an amazing slide guitar solo with. Im a fucking dumbass. He did'nt want a ciggy, he wanted a lighter. I had a lighter.

yeah that guy is good unique musician wh o plays music to be good not to be easily digested by masses of idiots who listen to shit they are told to, so that said it is time for this thread to die and the lil wayne thread to come back up.

That kinda sucks. I have a similar story.

I once went to see Judas Priest at the Edinburgh Playhouse, and I managed to get tickets for the front row. To my delight one of my favourite bands at the time Annihilator turned out to be the support act. So there I was up the front with my Annihilator T-shirt head banging away, the only person in the crowd with a T-shirt for the support act, and this went down very well with them too who seemed delighted to see someone there supporting them as well as Judas Priest. Anyway, at the end of the support act I went to the toilet and to get another beer, and when I came back my mate was standing there with a load of plectrums that the guitarist had come out and given him after the show, and where the was I? Standing in a queue at the fucking bar!
