Is the Bottom of Your Lighter Black?

My lighters are clean but I've got a permanent charcoal stain on one fingernail. When I'm home, I've got a little pokey glass thing for poking. I'm afraid I'll melt/burst the lighter. But I did put out a joint on my tongue this morning... that was stupid as hell. Ow.

When i've got to put out a joint i do it with my finger tips - just pinch the cherry. Puts it out, seals the joint up and doesnt waste anything. But i only do that when, for example, someone knocks at my door and im not expecting them. Dont want me joint to burn down sitting in the ashtray.

i dont really have a black bottom to my lighter, maybe a little grey from giving it a stir or something, but the little toothpick piece to my swiss army knife is blackening cause thats what i use to stir and clean out my bowls, i use a tiny screwdriver if im cleaning it out for another bowl but never the ligher, it just doesnt work as well.
