Microwave temps and settings vary so be very careful. 30 seconds could be more than enough to burn your weed. You might want to research into this method to make sure it's right for you, and also check what temps will be safe to use.

small air tight containor, fill the bottom with salt,add a few layers of paper or kitchen roll an put the green on top of that. the salt should suck the moisture out,just make sure it doesnt come in2 contact with the green,an put the box in an airing cupboard or a warm spot like the top of your emersin heater. i must admit ive never done it with green but i have done it with basil and corriander
as i grew way tomuch over the summer.and it did not affect the taste so no salt was drawn in by the plant matter.hope this helps?

There was an article in High Times magazine many years ago that declared that slightly moist weed has a little more potency than totally dried weed. You should first dry it totally SLOWLY (a week or longer if possible). Then before you smoke it slightly moisten it. I would be afraid to try a microwave on fresh picked bud.

yea microwaves are extremely unstable for decarboxylation. Ovens seems to work much better...

hey Coelho, even when I wrap my weed in tin foil and only cook it on 250 F for about 5-10 minutes, it is still all burn looking, some blackish and smells up the whole house....

This is my 1st time here. Question on topic: At my Colorado house I left some sweet kind in ziplock bag and inside glass jar with little water in bottom for hydration 'cause it's very dry out there. 3 months later I returned to find my stash very moist and with a change of color to orange, plus different smell. Didn't look moldy, but 6 days later I'm coughing up and seem to have same smell deep in my lungs.
Wadda'ya think?

Man... just dry it in the microwave. It works very well, and there is absolutely NO risk of losing any THC. Also, you may be surprised with the increase of its potency after doing it... just microwave it for some 30 seconds... if it were still wet after it, microwave for more 30 seconds, until it be dry. And enjoy! :thumbsup:

i've dried small amounts in the microwave for a little taster of a harvest , it's ok but imo i find never as good as when dried properly and cured for a few weeks.
