MJ and pneumonia
Well, my brother is in town for the holidays and he has been stricken with a case of pneumonia. It's not deathly or anything but the poor guy is extremely nauseated, not sleeping, not eating, etc.
SO I know exactly what he needs to feel better, if not be cured: A large, healthy dose of THC. Smoking with pneumonia would be really stupid, I know, but I happen to have a batch of tasty (and potent) MJ cookies waiting to be gobbled by some lucky stiff...
Which leads me to my question: Does marijuana adversely affect the immune system in any way? I have heard it said and have read some reports that it may, but with personal experience I have no reason to believe so. However I do not want to increase his time spent in bed like a wet piece of toilet paper.
:rastasmokeo I get him high...?:what:

WOW! Your question has been there for awhile..I am by no means qualified to give an exact answer..my question to you is...has he ever been high before?

Thank you for bringing that up! Yes, he is down in my city from Humboldt State. I believe he smokes everyday.
I don't think many people know how to answer this; so I only really expected ideas. . .

I would say go for it...I personally think marijuana cures all..mostly for those of us who partake anyway..maybe not so much a newbie..if anything it will take away his naseau and allow him to injest more liquid and food..then it is nothing but up from there..
damn, I want one of those cookies:jointsmile:

I think you are right. He wants one, anyway, so I'm not going to hold out! But, seeing as he's likely to be ill for a few weeks he maybe won't get high every single day, just the bad ones.
What he needs most of all is healthy sleep, and weed will definitely do that for him along with temporarily lifting most symptoms. Thanks for the input!
Yeah, baking is totally worthwhile. I think tomorrow morning he and I will each eat a big one, me with coffee before class and him with milk before napping or whatnot.
peace:hippy:

I don't see how a little would hurt. I don't see it curing him. He should get some antibiotics. Smoking pot may dehydrate him, and he needs a lot of liquids.

He is on antibiotics. I'm going to give him the cookie and tell him to drink milk and water when he feels better(high). I suppose it will be a temporary, awesome relapse from the misery.
If he dies I'll just blame you.

His heart will race for several minutes, so stay with him. One time, I smoked on top of experimental epileptic medication and a muscle relaxer, then thought that I had found the secret to the disappearance of the Mayans.
