I would suggest tightly wrapping it in a bag and sticking it in the freezer to help preserve the freshness of the weed.

very poor advice, never freeze your weed, if you freeze weed the trichomes that store the thc will rupture causing the thc to start degrading, also wrapping tightly in plastic will also cause rupturing of the trichomes, to store weed and keep it fresh you need keep in an air tight container, in a cool dark place, prefrably the refridgerator, never squash or pack weed tightly into a container.
