All systems can be homemade. Don't look for homemade systems, look for actual systems, then make them at home. For your first one, I always recommend people look at Emily's Garden, then buy it for $85 or make it for $40. You cannot beat DWC for ease of operation and outstanding results. Start small before designing your real grow room.

I would like to do a srog grow as i feel the height isnt sufficient, after one Ebb n flow grow the tops looks a little crispy. I was wondering what people felt was the best hydro method. Im looking at Aeroponics, and DWC but the lines between them sem blurred sometimes. Is DWC just Aeroponics with roots fully submerged? Is aeroponics just adding air directly to the nutrients?
