Aeroponics Vs DWC
So Ive been trying to decide on a new hudro setup for a new rom i want ot build. The room is 6'x6-9'x6' tall. I would like to do a srog grow as i feel the height isnt sufficient, after one Ebb n flow grow the tops looks a little crispy.
I was wondering what people felt was the best hydro method. Im looking at Aeroponics, and DWC but the lines between them sem blurred sometimes.
Is DWC just Aeroponics with roots fully submerged?
Is aeroponics just adding air directly to the nutrients?
I am also deciding between purchasing my equipment or attempting to make it. Im decently handy but all the home made systems I see appear to be DWC buckets. Does anyone know of a tru aeroponic home made system?
Just few questions, loking forward to your thoughts.

You can build any of them with ease. I do suggest though firing up the lights in the room that you are going to grow inside to check your temps. If you are in the 80's, go with Ebb & Flow or put some additives in a dwc setup. If you are in the mid and low 70's, Dwc will be the best for you.

with two 1000 watt HPS going, it never got above 83 in there. We did Ebb and Flow previously, I can get the temps into any range very easily, its a great room.
Thanks, I'm still reading...
