Damn this mortality of mine
Im sick. I have a very irritated throat and high fever. I cant smoke at all and ive been in bed for two days straight. Went to the doc yesterday. I though it was strep because my little brother had it last week, but its not. The bad part of that is that i cant get antibiotics so i just have to wait it out. The aspirin is not helping much, and its hard as hell for me to sleep. Doctor said it might be mono, in which case itll last a few weeks before the fever and sore throat go away. The worst part of this is, that i just got a new pipe, a new connection for chronic, and my first paycheck from my new job, which is a good bit larger than my last job. So anyway, life sucks, bitch bitch bitch...

Aww. Feel better fast! You know the deal... liquids, vitamin C, rest, comic books in bed, lots of groaning, all the good stuff.
What about a nice cup of hot Earl Grey with cannabutter cream? Mmm!

Awww thats horrible hun. I hope you feel better soon.
John and I have been horribly sick also, with this stomach flue thing. I'm over mine pretty much but he's not, he threw up in my room last night. Luckily none of my things got anything icky on them....I even helped him clean up.
Thats love right there.

I missed that line, where you said "mono". I guess, I was interested in your new bowl, more.

Only thing to do is rest up - but if your up to it, buy the weed as you normally would and just save it up - then when your better you'll have a big bag of smelly ganja ready to heal you further!

Get better soon.

whenever im sick and cant comfortably toke, I just consider it a forced tolerance break. I almost enjoy it in a weird way, ive had a nagging sore throat and havent smoked in a couple weeks myself. Buy the weed when you can, let it sit there, and let the excitement build.

The mono test came back this morning and its negative. Good news is yesterday my fever went away, and it still hasn't come back. The sore throat is starting to ease up also. So I think I should be ok in a few days. Guess it wasn't really as big of a deal as I thought. Should be back and smoking soon.

Mono is a viral infection and strep is a bacterial one. Mono can go into a dormant state for long periods of time and an infected individual may become contagious even without showing symptoms himself.
