5 letters: MSNBC
nothing else... Fox is completely biased, CNN is antisemitic, and local news is aimed solely to scare you into submission...
Plus I've got a prospective job there out of college

I watch CNN in the morning and I read CNN and MSNBC online. For drug related news I read stopthedrugwar.com and sometimes drugwarrant.com

You a journalism major, Otottoto? Me, too (as an undergrad)!
I get most of my news from PBS, NPR, ABC and local stations (and their corresponding online sites + The Drudge Report), the local morning paper, the NYTimes, Time and Newsweek. I also watch a good bit of CNN when there's breaking news or international news. I like Anderson Cooper's reporting a lot. I'm a badly addicted news junkie. I have to get it from somewhere or I start to go through withdrawal. I refuse to watch Fox, however. That's the most offensive name in credible news. I think PBS is the best.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

Too many sources to list as I am a bit of an information nut and have to check out various sources simply to get the broadest picture possible.
Teletext
Newspapers
The Net
I have a compulsion to educate myself by trying to gather as much information as possible and I find that each outlet has it's own bias so by going to as many places as possible I hope to get a better balanced overview.

Without a doubt Bill O'Reilly, is the most fair and unbiased newscaster out there. :S2:
Seriously I get my news where you can trust it, Comedy Central and HBO. Names I can trust, John Stewart, Stephen Cobert and Bill Maher. :computerlove1:
For the printed press, I turn to the Internet, I can look anywhere I want.
Needless to say, I'm a little outa touch.:rastabanna:When read carefully, these statements contain subtle nuances that,
if not properly accounted for, make them seem far more significant than they really are.

There is no truth to the news we see on television, especially MS/NBC, but I still watch it. It is an "Establishment" channel in my point of view.
Reading is more abundant because knowledge is more abundant. I still have yet to completely acknowledge that because television is in many places. Usually I search for articles on the internet, sometimes for specific topics.

Nope, still undeclared... started as a bs-chem major but that didnt work out well with me, tho i stayed in NatSci since they've been extremely helpful during my cancer-scare-caused deferment of the fall semester.
