You can safely use N up to the end of the 2nd week of flower, then cut it WAY WAY WAY back. Nitrogen is a major component of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the harsh feeling at the back of your throat when you smoke. Withhold N, and the plant has VERY limited ability to make chlorophyll after the reserves in the soil and lower leaves are used up.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Close to harvest but...... Are these fan leaves a sign of a larger underlying problem? I flushed the 3 plants last week-10 days ago and have continued normal feeding, thought they had more time to go - maybe not!?!?! Last harvest had the normal yellowing of fans, but not this dark green>brown>purple>rust>scarlett>yellow.... Trying not to freek! Rating: 5
