    Close to harvest but......

Are these fan leaves a sign of a larger underlying problem? I flushed the 3 plants last week-10 days ago and have continued normal feeding, thought they had more time to go - maybe not!?!?!
Last harvest had the normal yellowing of fans, but not this dark green>brown>purple>rust>scarlett>yellow.... Trying not to freek!

Well, went ahead and gave an all-purpose fert with some N to try and "fix" this....did a thorough inspection and did not find any mold or mildew, (pulled on sugar leaves, strong attatchment) Unless I get word otherwise, I am going to assume that these are end of life and need to start the final flushing! Last plant got me over 3 oz, hopefully these will do at least half of that. My hopes are not high though, these dont seem to have the juice that the last ONE had!!

    No more nitrogen!
Fall foliage colors are a common trait that appears in many strains. Look up Soma's 'Lavender' and 'Rock Bud' for stellar examples of this.
The flushing really brought the colors out because the other pigments- reds and yellows- are masked by the green chlorophyll, which breaks down and is not replaced whjen you are withholding N in late flower.

Fall Foliage!! Never occured to me. Makes perfect sense though, these plants are flowering in a cabinet in the basement where the dark temps dip down to 58 or so...

Thanks for your response, NO MORE N!!

You can safely use N up to the end of the 2nd week of flower, then cut it WAY WAY WAY back. Nitrogen is a major component of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the harsh feeling at the back of your throat when you smoke. Withhold N, and the plant has VERY limited ability to make chlorophyll after the reserves in the soil and lower leaves are used up.
