    help with starting seeds

Can anyone tell me the best way to start seeds for a hydro system?

i was thinking i would try to set up 3 inch net pots with hydrotin and a organic plug. germ the seeds plunk them in the plug. then transplant them after the roots drop in the water. BTW I'm using a small 2 gallon bubble bucket to start them and transplanting to a 5 gallon buckets after the roots drop.

i dont even know if thats gonna work. i have never used seeds b4 so i dont know what to do. i read some threads on it and i cant really find away to do it DWC style. is it because it does not work???

    help with starting seeds

I'm a noob and in the middle of our first grow but as far as germing the seeds go that should be fine..I was very amazed at how little we did and how quickly they grow from seed...We germed in moist paper towel/plastic bag and put them in rockwool once they cracked and there you go..

    Good luck!

Sure, once you get roots outside the plug, you can put from-seed plants in a DWC.

i guess what i mean is. i want to start the seed in a dwc set up after germination. a small 2 gallon set up. and fill it right to the netpot and then when the roots drop in the water transplant them in to my 5 gallon buckets.
