Dehydrator?
Well, after two days, the buds in the lowest tray, the ones I cut first, are a little cruchy dry, but the stems are still not breaking, just bending over, so I will let them keep going I guess, but it seems to be working pretty well. I am putting the trim in the lowest tray, and it is drying well, remember, I have defeated the heating coil, so only air flow. I am thinking I will put a dimmer on the motor today and slow the fan down a little bit, although it is not a really high airflow, not as high as I would expect from some o the homemade boxes I have seen on here with the 4 inch computer fams, that is a lot of airflow, but maybe they are drying too fast it the bud feels pretty dry after two days, and the stems are not breaking????
If this works, I will post some pics of how to defeat the heating coil if anyone is interested.....
Arbogastarbogast Reviewed by arbogast on . Dehydrator? OK, I have read about dehydrators not working well for drying bud, but I would think that mostly is because of too much heat, from off the shelf, they DO make a lot of heat, but looking at the mechanism, it sure looks like a perfect little drying box without the heat....so my question is, has anyone tried one for drying buds by defeating the heating coil? I bought one and defested the heating coil, just have to cut one wire, and it has been running now for about a day, and the buts are still Rating: 5
