looking for NEGATIVE ION GENERATOR

i've heard here and there from people that you can get a negative ion generator for as cheap as $15 bucks. is this true? if so, where can i get one of these? thanks

If they're cheap, they're cheap for a reason. I wouldn't trust security to a cheap ass ionizer. Usually good venting removes enough odor that for me it wasn't a problem but some strains are stinky. I think that carbon scrubbers are all the rage now, I've also heard good things about the vaportek4000. But the vaportek is like 160 dollars and the replacements are kinda expensive as well (50 bucks) but I heard they work really well. Carbon scrubbers only really work if the area is sealed off.

"Flair" makes an excellent combo ozone generator/ionizer. 1 unit will cover a small home and will easily handle a grow room. They are kind of expensive but at the cost of about an oz of fine bud you can own one of these and not worry about the aroma's escaping from the room any more. I've had mine for 3 years now and it's still on the job...easy maintinence too.

Do you hook that up inline with exhaust? or just put into the area? I've heard that ozone can be detrimental but I'm sure if it's only small amounts it wouldn't be too bad. The vaportek optimum 4000 I heard about from rezdog. He grows a lot of sour diesel so I'm sure if they can handle his fairly large areas they would handle most setups. I think those are industrial use anyways lol.

Hi, Ive purchashed one at goodwill for 5 bucks, they had several. Ive also bought a really nice one on ebay that works great! Hope this helps.
