Plant problems, a little advice?

I probably confused you when I just stuck up a pic and didn't use many words. I was responding to the flag, if you are flying it because you like it, cool, but I do tend to assume people flying the flag are of a similar cultural background to me.

If I was working with the assumption that you were of European background I would have said something more like ~

Your description, "It looks like someone just went around the outside of a white leaf with a yellow highlighter and colored the rest normally" sounds like zinc deficiency to me. Have a look at the link Weedhound posted, it includes good pics of various problems.

Anyways, all of the leaves on my plant are dark green (not too dark) with almost neon yellow edges... do you think having hard water is the problem or is it a more serious nute problem? sorry, no photos yet.
