    I didn't exactly mean that. You can grow big beautiful buds with a 400, but like some others say it's about the amount of light you use per square foot. A whole bunch will produce bigger buds than not a whole bunch. 2 plants under a 400 should do pretty good unless you veg them a long time and the foliage gets outside of that square footage recommended for a particular light. But again, it's square footage not number of plants. I can make 1 plant fill a warehouse.

    4 plants under 400wHPS in a space no larger than 3x3 feet with plenty of head space= good use of that light, or 1 or 2 plants that have been trained in some manner to give continuous canopy.

    Sounds about right to me. I'd go with the training.
