First Time Outdoor grow in UK.........

I'm planning my first grow, and have decided to do it guerilla.

Anyone got any tips for me? I've read loads of guides on it and have a pretty good idea of what to do, but am a little concerned about some parts of it.

First of all, I live in the UK, and am not sure when to start. I've heard it depends on the strain, but generally March/April? If this spring/summer is anything like last year's, then we're not going to be seeing a lot of sun!

Also, how big of a problem are bugs and insects? Are they going to eat my plant?

Any tips on 'not getting caught' would be helpful....

    Happy New Year!

Well the biggest problem is the light cycle, Ive heard that april/june is a good time to start, and the aim is to gather at the end of september- much later than the beggining of october and there could be frost

However very soon lowlife seeds are releasing autoflower outdoor plants, so light timing becomes a non issue.

a good way to deter pests is a grease strip around the base of the plant (once a reasonable size) and neem oil sprayed liberally

Im also planning a grow this summer, might even invest in a small greenhouse.
Anyone know what kind of weather we are gonna get this summer in the UK?
I just hope its really hot because we didn't even have a damn summer last year.

your main problem will be watering and where i live rabbits they strip a small plant in a night try to plant in a low lying area so water runs down from the valleys above and try to plant somwhere that has some shade remember if nettles are growing therre it is perfect for mj try toget the earlyest finishing strain you can they may not be the strongest but its better than losing the lot to mold !!! remember you only go there as many times as needed this country has got many eyes just waiting to cause to trouble ! so what area you from ? good luck any way my friend

I've got a massive countryside area to choose from, so I won't be short of nettles, and I'm in the Thames Valley, so thats perfect for the watering thing you said.

Can you recommend an early finishing strain? Is this one any good:

ok do not tell anyone!! anyone and i mean anyone, not ur best friend not ur favorite smokin buddy not anyone. if u dont get ratted out to the police, u will be followed and ur plants stolen by ur 'friends' or they will tell one friend who tells one friend and by the end u have a whole bunch of scammers hunting for ur plants.

get as early finishing seeds as you can, or get lowlife ak47. plant out when theyre between eight and twelve inches(if normal seeds, for ak47 i plant at six inches), i chose this height because they can be hidden in a bag safely while being transported to sight. at this height they are not as strong as they could be but they are not weak seedlings either, my theory is if one or two these size dont survive they werent right for outdoor growing and im beter off they died, but the rest should be ok. make sure you clear away a patch of weeds and crap on the ground about 1m diameter then mix in some better quality soil and maybe some compost or whatever you chose then plant(doing the soil a couple months before planting is best). bear in mind your plants could easily get to a meter and a half or more tall through the summer so remember this for picking your secure grow site. have more than one grow site due to the assholes who kill/steal ur crop.

you can look up lst training to make the plant alot smaller, or fimming etc.

let it grow, dont let the soil dry out too muhc, i leave them without nutes untill they start flowering then gently introduce some flowering nutes to soil and gradually increase up to the recommended dose.

harvest late september/ early oct, or get a 60x magnifying glass from Legal Highs, Glass Bongs, Pipes Head Shop and learn to tell when ur plants are ready.
