How faint is TOO faint?

Hello,

I have a drug test coming up in 4 days and i just tested myself with a test strip. The line that is supposed to tell you if your neg or pos was very faint? Is that still considered a negative or will they say I failed?

Can someone please shed some light i'm kinda nervous. Even though I know I still can dilute the day of the test.

The last time i smoked was 7 days ago one hit and before then 13 days ago another one hit.

Also any suggestions that can get me clean in 4 days would be awesome.

i'm 20 165lb, 6ft.

A line is a line as the directions say. If you have a line know and you still have 4 days to go you should be fine. Read the dillution sticky and follow that the morning of the test and you should be good.

Good question no one asks that! Sorry, I couldn't help myself because it does get asked a lot!

If it can be photocopied or photographed and show up, then that is a passing line. Make sure you test with the first void, the dirtiest of the day and thus the worst case scenario.

If a person's body is completely clean and then enjoys a one time high (not 1 hit but a one time high, you common sense and good judgement as to how much is considered "high"), they can usually pass in 5-7 days. You didn't say if you were completely clean or give a longer history but it sounds like you are an infrequent smoker and then smoked 2 hits over the last 2 weeks so you probably are good to go.

I smoked like 3 times a day for 2 years, then got caught and was clean for 2 months, then i took those 2 hits like a week apart.

void = piss
While testing yourself its best to use your first piss of the day. That will be the dirtiest. If you pass that then your chances are very good you'll pass the UA test. Its still always a good idea to follow the dillution sticky to increase your changes of passing.

We tell people to test with the first void but not to give the first void for the real test. The first one of the day tends to be more concentrated because you weren't drinking fluids in your sleep so it should be the dirtiest one of the day. If you can pass that then the rest of the voids that day should be as concentrate or less than the first void. You wouldn't want to test an evening sample that might be a little diluted then go in the next day in the morning or early afternoon thinking you are clean when you weren't as clean as you thought.

To clarify:

When home-testing yourself, use the first mornings void when THCA levels would be at their highest. If you test negative with the first mornings void, you're good to go.

When taking your scheduled test at the clinic, and if you plan on using your own urine, urinate at least 4 times prior to leaving the house and if possible, try to schedule the test for the afternoon.

ok, that makes sense. The drug test place is open from 7-9am and 5-7 pm i will be going to the latter time because of school and also because it will be more dilluted.

So i'm just going to chilax and eat some fatty foods for the next 3 days and drink tons of water and get the dilution down so i know what i'm doing for the test on tuesday.

Sound good?

No it's sounds bad in fact. If you are passing, why do you want to risk a negative dilute by drinks TONS of water? No where in the dilution sticky does it suggest TONS of water. It is measured amounts and water is not the preferred fluid (read all of IAMN2's posts in that thread). May I suggest for your piece of mind that since you are passing home tests a mild dilution, half the amount of fluids and all the rest of the stuff. Plus TONS of water days before the test isn't going to help you.
