I was a little concerned at first because the timer would kick on at 7:05am and it would be like 7:20 before the light actually came on and started to brighten up. It's the same time every morning no earlier or no later...it just has a dim glow to it for the first 20 minutes and then POOF! it kicks on and gets bright.

The ballast kicks on then it takes like ten minutes or so for the light to kick on. Then it starts brighten up good.This is my first indoor light so i'm new at this.
