    Adding flavor

So my girlfriend was telling me about a way to add a slightly orange flavor to weed.

Putting orange peels in the bag with the weed.

Does this work, if so, how well?

It adds moisture to the bud, and will weigh it out more, but from personal experience it adds little to no flavor and if your not careful you can put mold on your weed

try this instead, buy some of that candy spray from any deli, drugstore, spray it into your mouth, sont swallow it yet, take a hit then swallow the candy spray in your mouth, release hit, and its not to bad.

I don't know about the orange peel thing. If you want to flavor your weed, I'd suggest trying Tasty Puff flavor drops (sold at most headshops).

Here's some info from a different forum:

"The drops smell very strong, and do change the taste of the bud. However, don't expect for it to be like smoking blueberries [or whatever flavor you choose]. Remember that nothing can really mask the taste of smoke, but the drops do make it taste better.

You only need about a drop or two on each smaller nug. If you have a bag, don't put more than 10 or so drops in the whole bag, you don't need a drop on every nugget. After you put the drops on, let your nugs sit in the bag for a day or two, then sit out for a few hours. This allows the nugs to sweat for a day or two in the flavors, to get everything evenly wet, then dry out before smoking."

Either it was purely a placebo effect, or my weed tasted citrusy. I did this a lot with mids during the summer when I could just steal oranges from work. I liked it and would do it again if I ever pick up more middie poo-poos. Oh, I only rolled jays (so I could smoke on my walk to work), so maybe that's why I could taste the citrus more. Really it's just a matter of personal preference. Try it out sometime.

Flavored rolling papers are okay for changing flavors. The orange peel trick hasn't ever changed the flavor of my bud, but it does keep it fresh and moist
