Mods, Moderation, and Moderate Opinion?
I pay quite a bit of attention to threads that have been closed and feel I have to say that I personally have never seen a thread closed that would be indicitave of the mods own personal views.
Threads tend to closed because rules have been broken or that thread looks like it is heading towards causing problems either for admin or other users of the site.
This is my personal view based on being a member since May 2005.I may of course be wrong and I have no doubt someone will disagree but I am absolutely sure threads are not closed just because a Mod doesn't agree with the topic.
If they were then I would not be a member of these boards.

Why was this thread in the politics section locked? People seemed to still be posting relevant information on it. I first thought it was because someone said "f" in regards to the "f"ed up politics we live in today, but after a quick search, I realized a lot of threads have "f" in them, yet they're still open.
