What makes you cry?

I dont make what Im feeling a mystery, if Im happy, you will know it. If Im pissed, trust, Ill let you know. If Im sad, i usually hide it behind a stoic expression and vague responses.. I cant cry in front of people, with all the shit thats happened to me, I've learned to control how much emotion I let out.. most of the time if i feel the need to cry, you will see one tear.. not a word or even a sob. I've mastered the art of swallowing my tears so to speak. Yet i can also cry on command, which has come in handy a couple of times..

I'm generally a happy person.. I laugh alot, always making observations and making funny or smartass yet still funny comments about everything around me.. If youre with me, You will most likely laugh the entire time. Especially if theres is or has been weed involved.. Theres always the time when something I see or hear triggers the urge to cry.. for example, seeing a hurt animal, the old Zales commercial music before they changed it to stupid Vanessa Carlton.. Seeing or hearing about another young american dying a senseless death.. The Star Spangled Banner.. hahaha yes, i know its stupid.. someone, especially men ask "is it food yet?" when asking if whatever meal Im preparing is done yet.. long story behind that..
What triggers the urge to cry for you? No flaming.. please.. Who's man enough to admit why they cry?!?

I rarely, if ever, cry out of sadness. But I cry from frustration. When things in my life that should be working simply refuse to do so, I have a hard time with that.
When the man I love did the right thing by himself and his family and moved back to Alaska, I cried not from sadness, but from frustration that the 'right thing' meant that two people who love each other may never meet again.
When my dog died of lymphoma at only 5 years old, I cried out of anger that she was so young and was only just starting to blossom into a really great dog after I had spent the previous 2 years working her through issues from having been starved and beaten by her previous owner, and she had such a short time to be a cool, relaxed, housepet.
That's what makes me cry.

First, Id like to say that Im very sorry to hear about The Tess. But, at least she died with a mommy who loved her very much and no doubt was at her happiest to have found a caring soul to finish out her journey on this earth. Remember that all dogs go to heaven and she is now at the happiest she has ever been.. I also saw that the animal Gods have blessed you with another beautiful soul. Congratulations.
I hate it than when I get super mad, I cry. I want to yell scream, stomp, throw shit, punch someone or at least a wall, which I learned is not cool for my hand. yet all I can do is cry.. which pisses me off even more. frustration makes me destroy objects.. like breaking stuff.. im trying to stop that..

There is a hole in the drywall of my bedroom wall from a day when I was very frustrated to have come home from a 14 hour work day to find that my unemployed boyfriend of the moment had failed to do the ONE thing I had asked of him that day, which was to take out the recycling for trash day. I had 7 hours to shower, sleep, wake up, and drive to work for my 8am shift at the lab... My knuckles didn't feel so hot afterwards, but better the wall than his nose. Frustration is the emotion that I am most afraid of because it is the only thing that causes me to lose my cool.

Agonizing physical pain makes me moan and whimper like a little kid but crying does not happen anymore.
I am a man, tears are for women to use as a weapon against us.

sometimes when im stoned i will look at my kids
and then start thinking some awful shit
like i might picture my son getting hit by a car
or my daughter dying in the mountains...just crazy shit
my eyes get all waterty and i feel like hugging them

some movies get me all emotional
i try and hold it back or look up so tears dont fall
even some kids cartoons are sad ....i think its cuz im high and i get carried away
its fun though

but for serious matters i wont shed a tear

Sitting in a chair getting ready to fire up a bowl and getting in such a hurry I knock it over and spill all my weed on the floor. That'll make me cry every time. Or if I have already smoked a little and knock it over I laugh my ass off.

I tend to always think too much, or analyze situations or life in general, and i often get messed up. Confusion is one of the things that makes me cry the most, when too many questions are left with no answers...
Also i'm scared of death. Not of dying myself of course, but of seeing all the older people i love die over the course of my life. I haven't lost much people yet, but my father is like reaaaaaaaaally sick, doing experiments to cure leukemia at the final stage, with 2yrs of life remaining max, and 50% chance of failure. And when i see my grandparents who were in huge families saying they dont even have 1 brother or sister left out of 15, and even their friends, it makes me think how life must suck when you're alone..its just sad..
Hah and i just realized thinking too much about death creates confusion also, how everything's linked eh..
