whats up, i got a question for you about that cannazym, i got it and used it on those moldy plants but i think they were too far gone because i decided to chop the plants and when i did the inside of the main shoot was filled with mold, but anyway i got a new system/light and gave the old to a friend and cleaned it very well before i did she planted some bag seeds, and the new roots coming out are covered in mold:wtf:, i dont understand how its still there (can only think maby the pvc tube that the dripper attatch to still had a little water in it) but i gave her some cannazym and some hydroguard and now there look like there dieing. but i wanted to know if cannazym/hydroguard harmful to young plants? there a couple weeks old and not even adding nutes yet.

Jimmy - I've never used Cannazyme or Hydrogaurd, but if you've got mold in your old system your friend needs to clean everything real well with a solution of water and bleach. She should even run the system for a few hours with the bleach solution (without any plants in there, of course).

that i didnt think of...... but i scrubed that thing with 10 parts water / 1 part bleach for like an hour, but that will clean out the pump, and everything real good, thanks

It's not good enough to scrub the stuff, you need to have bleach going through everything. The lines, nozzles, wait, I'm just repeating stuff. OK not repeating. I just want to reiterate.

Also, dehumidify. You can get the humidity down to 30 and the plants still grow fine. No mold problems at that level. At least for me.

yea but the only problem is under the lid, where most mold i ever has started, with the water and heat the open space is at like 80%, mold loves that

or apparently like what word has, mold growing in the water, im still convinced thats some kind of algie/fungus/mold mix,

my dehumdifier broke the otherday, but in winter time here and the humidity is very low so i dont think it would be a hudge prob and also she has it in the attic

Opie, I am guessing mold is more common in bloom since the plant is thick and resiny. At what humidity range does mold start to grow?? I am in a closet thats about 2' x 4' x 8', and in soil..
