Well the PS3 is a better built console, the 360 did indeed have a reliability issue however as we all know from the PS2 era... having a faulty console doesn't mean much.

Spec wise I think its pretty clear these days that despite Sonys early claims, the PS3 isn't all that much more powerful than the 360 in what it's capable of.

360 has a far far better library than the PS3. Not to mention that it nearly all multi console titles are better on the 360.


360 is the console of choice if you are a fan of games. It's just clearly superior and that doesn't look like that will be changing anytime soon.
If you get the latest model you shouldn't have to worry about RROD either.

PS3 is a good console if you want a small taste of gaming and a Blu Ray player.
