There's no need to be rude. And of course you can inhale and it's not totally wasted, but fire burns away THC. A cherry is what is desirable for THC delivery. By putting some bud on top of the keef, you would prevent the better stuff from being wasted by flame.

and btw, if you press it into a disc and put it in a bowl, light ONLY one edge of the disc until it begins to cherry. It will stay lit for as long as you want, and it burns very very slow and smooth. Do NOT light one of the sides... you're just causing it to burn up faster

What i normally do is grind out a joints worth onto a surface and then pour my kief over it and mix it together so it sticks to the bud and then put that into a joint.

I find that if i sprinkle kief into a joint it tends to burn less well on the kief side hence the mix.

make a "screen" of some green, or even stems, then pack the kief on top. All the good of a kief bowl, but enough substance to keep the kief from sucking through. I usually make a screen of stems (or stem singular) whenever I can, because it is harder to suck stem through then it is ground up herb (or kief)
