    Growing in Urban Areas?

I currently live in Santa Cruz, CA which is a small city but am considering a move up to the east bay. I am curious if any of you guys grow medically up there and what challenges you have run into growing in urban areas.

I was thinking because of rent being so darn expensive, it would be very difficult to have a drying room in your house. It's also very difficult to get a seperate dwelling from your neighbors so I guess you just set your room up while they are at work?

I use SunShine#4 and I would imagine it's pretty damn difficult to get rid of that stuff without your neighbors noticing too. Just kinda throwing this out there, curious which obstacles you have run into, and how you solved them.

Two things I worry about are smell and moving things in and out of my place. For smell I vent to the center of my roof. The wind dispurses it it and keeps it high so that nobody can smell it.

To move things in and out (pots, building materials, bags of soil/fert) I do it late at night and have someone looking out to tell me when it clear. Then quickly take it inside.

Good luck and let the force be with you.
