You should improve yield by giving adequate root space. Don't try to slow root growth; you need a healthy root system. There's a good chance your yellowing is caused by teh rootbound condition- a rootbound plant will show def symptoms even if the pH is correct and you are feeding properly. Do all the plants since they should all be behaving similarly.
Cutting veg time down isn't a bad idea next time around, and neither is 5 gallon pots. IT depends on what you want to end up with in terms of plant count.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Transplanting during Flowering?! Ok i have 2 C99's that have obviously out grown there pots and they are 3 almost 4 weeks into flowering. Fan leaves are starting to yellow and fall and i know they are getting a sufficient amount of Nitrogen in flower because i'm on the same regime im always on. Ph is correct so the only other thing i can see is Rootbound. Can transplanting during flowering hurt yield? Should i transplant all of my younger plants in flowering? There all in the same size buckets and they may end up with the same Rating: 5
