Transplanting during Flowering?!

Ok i have 2 C99's that have obviously out grown there pots and they are 3 almost 4 weeks into flowering. Fan leaves are starting to yellow and fall and i know they are getting a sufficient amount of Nitrogen in flower because i'm on the same regime im always on. Ph is correct so the only other thing i can see is Rootbound. Can transplanting during flowering hurt yield? Should i transplant all of my younger plants in flowering? There all in the same size buckets and they may end up with the same problem as the older ones.

And For some reason this new soil i'm using makes the roots grow crazy fast. Is there something i could use to slow down root growth a bit? It's really good soil but i have noticed that i'm transplanting more often then before so on my next grow i'm gonna have to get all 5 gallon buckets or cut my veg time down.

You should improve yield by giving adequate root space. Don't try to slow root growth; you need a healthy root system. There's a good chance your yellowing is caused by teh rootbound condition- a rootbound plant will show def symptoms even if the pH is correct and you are feeding properly. Do all the plants since they should all be behaving similarly.
Cutting veg time down isn't a bad idea next time around, and neither is 5 gallon pots. IT depends on what you want to end up with in terms of plant count.

I just transplanted plants that were two weeks into flowering - not suggested but it can be done without ill effects. Just wait till the soil is dry, loosen the grip of the soil by "squeezing the sides a little, place your palm flat on the soil with the stem going between your fingers - when you turn it upside down, give a sharp rap on the bottom and it should all slide right out.

hell i been livin with yellows for weeks, WEEKS i tell ya.

i wouldnt trans in flwr, id ride it out.

When i went to transplant the pots today i noticed they are worst off than i thought. They still have at the minimum 4 weeks to go but the fan's are looking pretty bad. Do you think its possible to have the green up again?

The last pic is of a skunk #1 right in front of the C99's, you can easily notice how much greener it is than the 2 budding C99's behind it. And the C99 in the bottom right corner of that pic is also much greener that the other 2.

Thats something beyond rootbound. Those pots look big enough for that size plant but I think there is something else going on, beyond my scope of knowledge...hopefully someone will poke in and recognize what is going on. What is your ph at?

How do you have the drainage set up in those pots?
How many weeks has it been since you first wetted that soil in them?
What is the temperature of the soil (are the pots on a cold concrete or tile floor)?

That one in the black 5 gal bucket did have a mat of roots at the bottom when transplanted, the other next to it couldnt get transplanted because my garden store was still closed for the Holidays so i'll be transplanting that one today. I'll take a pic of the rootball to see if you guys/gals think it could've been rootbound.

For the Ph it was at 6.6 last time i checked runoff but i wont be able to check again until i water those again.

Yeah they are on a tile floor but i havent checked the temp of the floor but i'm in the south and it hasnt gotten that cold this winter last night was the coldest we've had all winter and it only got down to 40F. So most of the time it gets around 50F to 60F and thats probably the temp the room goes down to when the lights are off. I have a little heater set to come on when the lights go off at night and a fan to distribute the heat and its set at 70F. Its a 5x5x8 room so i'm not really sure if the heater covers the entire room but the skunk and the other C99's should probably start acting the same way, right?

I'm gonna check to see how cold the tile is that could be contributing to the problem, as for drainage I just cut a few holes in the bottom of each bucket, nothing fancy, i'll take a pic, i may need to cut more holes or bigger holes.

All of the others are still green, these are the only 2 that have starting yellowing badly like this and they have a long time to go, do you think that this can be fixed at all?

Shortly though we'll know if it was root bound or not, about how many days should it take the roots to begin new growth outside of the rootball?

Should i wet thoroughly and not wet again for a few weeks? When i go pass 4 days they begin to droop a little. I think that may have something to do with those yellowing as well because they went about 6 days without being watered and they were closer to the 1k than the others.

They stretched alot and that doesnt really happen with this pheno of i have. I can take a pic of the others that had the same veg time and they are short and bushy with little stretch and they are forming buds as well. These plants starting there flowering period with an off period of light because the timer i was using could not power the 1k light so the light wouldnt come on all the time and it took almost a week for me to figure what the problem was. They were the only two in the room at the time. They stretched hugely in that time and now they look like that i'll take a comparison pic of the others so you can see how these stretched way more than im used to.

Do you think there poor start could have something to do with the stretch and yellowing?

Ok the floor isnt that cold so thats x'd out as well. None of my C99's ever stretch as much as these 2 did i can show you pics of others budding that are still at little bush. These stretched big time so could it be any other problem?
