    So, any budding writers?

So the writers strike got me thinking, if you wrote a comedy film/series, how would you write it?

Personally, i'd have to have a scene where they think they have killed a cop (but in fact, had just rendered him out cold) que gags as they try to dispose of him, and repeatedly knocking him out again.

Apologies for the awful pun in the title

Freshman year of highschool a friend and I wrote a script where these four teenagers go on a road trip across the country and smoke a ton of weed, stop to eat at some random place in the middle of nowhere because they have the munchies, and the food is really weird but they don't care, and then they get a flat tire and all this crazy shit happens throughout the movie and you're like WTF and then all of a sudden they're back at the diner in the middle of nowhere and they realize their food was just laced with some fuckin strong acid/shrooms and they hallucinated the whole thing, but even though it wasn't real it still changed their lives.

Haha it sounds lame now but the script turned out pretty damn cool

i really want towrite a book about my life so far , but i think i need to pay someone as iknow very little about litrature and how to actualy write a book.

one sentance that is definatly getting written into this book would be:

"my associate was crawling on the pub floor searching for the rocks he had just dropped" exclaiming "theres a .2 theres a .2" i retired into the toilet to see charlie and to ponder the night to follow.

I really want to change the latest Rocky Balboa movie, far too old to fight, it was almost a joke and pitiful.
However, if i had the chance i would rewrite it, give him a tougher kid and it would pan out that his son (or daughter, we could make it interesting) wants to train up to be just like their dad, Rocky becomes there very skillful trainer, THUS... bring on the Rocky Trilogy without the sacroledge.

thats an idea man i think would have even been better then the rocky film in qeustion,.

ever thought of making your own fighting story line and maybee taking it further?

Yes, exactly my point.. but on the other hand changing Sly Stallone for a younger model would off put us off aswell (well.. Sly Stallone and Rocky just go together lol).

So, I think they should of reinvented Rocky as the dutiful loving supporting dad and his son or daughter wanted to take after his footsteps, thus.. seeing sly stallone still do his thing as a kick butt trainer/manager and seeing some decent action at the same time.

    Good combo, i think.

Shame they come up with the trash they DID release.

    (edit)
I have considered writing and sending scripts & drafts out, i used to be very articulate and can come up with interesting twists rather than the same old twaddle, but unfortunately i have had next to no education in my life due to being bullied, quit school at 11.. and do not have a job due to an anxiety dissorder, I would get laughed at.

But, thank you for apreciating me, I dont get compliments often.
