I live in a relatively newer neighborhood where the houses are somewhat close - I'd say about 30-50 feet apart. There is also a sidewalk on the other side of the street.


I guess in my 'paranoid' ways I'm curious what would happen if someone smelled or saw the smoke from the ganja (from smoking out of the window... not growing) and called the cops?

The cops could come to the door and knock and ask to come in, but unless they have a warrant they couldn't do shit unless you showed them the weed and asked to come smoke.. then there might be a problem

Mainly because my g/f just barely tolerates it - I try to make it as invisible as possible so she doesn't get upset..


...and don't bother saying 'get a new girlfriend'... I'd pick her over pot anyday.

Don't worry about it..think would YOU seriously call the cops if u thought u smelled
marijuana or even saw smoke coming out of someones home (other then a fire). What r they gonna tell the dispatcher" Um i think my neighbor is smoking marijuana because i smell somethin funny and i see him smoking and its really affecting me...... fuck that. As long as u dont have a beef with any of them your good. i smoke out a my hottub downstairs EVERYNIGHT seriously and about 40 feet is my neibors house and windows like crazy i mean these ppl sleep with all windows open at all times cause there like nature people but anyway i used to worry and then i thought what i just told u and then i just let it slide and havent had a problem. There are times where i think im caught and i will see a light flip on i(i smoke at night at my house like 9- 1am) and think something may happen like my neighbors calling my parents but shit its all the paranoia and i learned that the less paranoia u allow, the better and more easy going and fulfilling the smoking session and even the high is better

Why dont u go in the back yard and smoke? Hanging out a window in full view of everyboady is not the best of ides dude.. Worst that will happen is ur naighbours phonin the police and them payin u a visit...

Yeah your sort of paranoid if you ask me. Take a cardboard paper towel or toilet paper roll and stuff it with dryer sheets like SNUGGLE. While smoking blow your smoke through it............I have been paranoid so this works trust me.

do it in the basement..... take a a cardboard paper towel roll, or cardboard paper towel roll, doesn't matter, and stuff laundry dryer sheets(feel waxy and come in diff. scents) and if you smoke.....you inhale normally, then you exhale into the tube filled with laundry dryer sheets and it masks the odor. you can also take one and burn it slowly with a flame to give off a pleasing smell that covers up marijuana very nicely.
