I'd skip the water.....it really has no place in cooking with ganja. Otherwise....not sure why nine hours but don't know if that will make a difference or not. If you cook it that long you might consider straining the mixture at the end. Then you pretty much have canna butter.

(Canna-Butter question) 8oz of unsalted butter 1/8th of finly ground bud 1 cup of water Tossed in crock pot (low setting) for 9 hours Stirred it, kept an eye on it as best I can. (doing this right now, I am in hour #3) When done, I will pour the mixture in a tupperware conatiner, let set in freezer to 45 minutes, then scrape butter from the water. WILL THIS WORK?
