May a mouse never leave your grainstore with a teardrop in it's eye.

Meaning that you had plenty of grain and the mouse was happy and was not crying, therefore you were prosperous enough to have had plenty of grain and may it always be so.

Happy '08 ya'll.. I feel old.. I also feel like shit.. signs of a good time.. I'm glad its over.. I stayed my ass home and cooked and smoked and drank wine all night. It was just my sister, her boyfriend, my best friend and me. we had a white Shark fattie all lit up for the new year. I couldnt see straight and we spilled wine all over the carpet when we toasted.. thank god it was white wine.. dinner was awesome!! I didnt know this, but my best friend told me about eating Black-eyed Peas, cabbage and pork for good luck.. id never heard of it.. hey, gave me an excuse to cook.. so i baked a ham, made Black-eyed pea soup with rice and danish fried cabbage and garlic-butter green beans.. it was all so good.. funniest part about this whole thing was that I had my wake and bake session sitting on the edge of the tub in front of the toilet in case i got pukey... LMFAO.. now off to makin home made flour tortillas for breakfast tacos in a few hours.. and red salsa...
