I had this discussion before in another forum, who is the most evil hair testing company? Quest and Psychemedics are probably the two biggest hair testers and both use the same cutoffs and confirmations marijuana levels (i'm almost positive all hair testing companies use the same values as set forth by regulations determined through years of research) but there may be some slight differences in their testing methods. Both companies put the hair through a "wash" to remove environmental contaminants then put the hair through a solvent extraction that almost liquifies the hair and makes the metabolites available for testing. From what I've read on their websites, I believe (remember, they don't fully disclose everything on their websites) that Psychemedics' solvent phase may be a little more effective than Quest or anyone else and may be a little more difficult to beat. This is mere speculation as I have no solid proof or evidence, only Psychemedics claims that their method is superior to others in the industry and seeing a few more people fail Psychemedics test over Quest. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear.

Psychemedics offers a home test that is very similar if not identical to their employment testing and this is what you should have probably used if you knew it was going to be through them.

If you did treat your hair 2 more times after taking the test on your own that might be enough to provide you with smoe more breathing room. When did you take the official hair test?
