weird spots on leaf
can anyone tell me why i have these weird spots on the leaf?.. i have just started the flowering stage at 8weeks with the 250w HPS bulb..hanging at about 80cm-1m above plants, and before this post, nutrients were not given to the plants... but when i saw the leaf with those spots i figured that maybe it could be due to lack of nutrients.. so i have just given them a solution which consists of 11.5N, 6.5(P2O5), 10(K2O). 3ml of solution was mixed in 2l of water...

What are your temps in your grow room that looks like beginings of heat stress.

Also get a fan blowing on them to strengthen the stems they look very streched, they may fall over when they start putting on some weight.

It is the begining of heat stress or light stress The distance from light to plant looks good, I am not familiar with celcius so I can't say if it is to warm in there. I did see you recently put them under a HPS and by the looks of your grow you were using somthing with alot less lumins. So that leaves light burn and from what I see it is minimal and not a major concern yet. Put a fan in the room for air circulation and try using a NEW spray bottle ( not one that was used for any cleaner or chemical, residues from the previous chemical could have a devistating effect on your plants )and spray the plants occassionaly with just plain water to suppliment water to the leaves and help keep them cool.

hi there,
looks like you have some nice plants there! iam currently growing using soil and always have. it looks to me from the picture that it could be heat stress as jerry pointed out, but i would also definatly do a ph test on your soil and your feed mix as it may be a little acidic which causes chemical burning inside the plants leaves which appears as spots or blobs on the leaves showing in yellow/browny colour.
also are u flowering the plants just now? if you are just growing the plant in vegetive state then u should have your light on 18hrs and off for 6hrs per day. when the plants are the size u wish them to be then change the light timing to 12hrs on and 12hrs off as this light timing is what tells the plants to go ahead and start making some ganja lol. as for temperature and this is very important your growroom should be kept between 70f - 90f or 24oc-30oc it is very important to keep the temperature withing these zones for maximum growth and yeild.
as for spraying the leaves in my personal opinion it doesnt really matter when u spray them but personally i do it when the light is on mostly so the excess water has evaporated in the room before the light goes off again as this helps keep damp and mould away from the plants/growroom in general.
by the way have a look here for light timing info
Timing is Everything
anyways hope this helps, cheers rossco

oh i forgot to mention 1 thing never spray the plants with feed mixtures or chemicals only use pure water or the heat from the light warming the chemicals burns the plants leaves etc.
