Do you fold all your clothes and put them in drawers or hang them all up in the closet? Why?

I do that because I live with two other people (only one other when college is in session and our son's away) and it's the best way to keep the laundry cycle moving and the house running in organized fashion.
I'm a natural procrastinator and slob, however. If I were living here alone, left to my own devices and didn't have others who depended on our system, I'd let unfolded laundry pile up for weeks. I'd store most of my wearable clothes in the dryer and simply turn it on to iron them before I put them on. I'd throw dirty laundry directly into the washer tub instead of into a laundry basket and drape the still-clean-enough-to-rewear items on chairs or possibly on hangers (but not neatly). I'd never fold or hang another thing until the end of my time came. . . . Wouldn't it be loverly? I'd be in hawg heaven!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

Shirts and T shirts get ironed and hung up in wardrobes, sweatshirts and jumpers folded in drawers, socks and pants thrown in drawers, I like to be organized if possible, tricky when working up to 50 hrs a week though, however hubby is good at ironing and housework and helps a lot, he tends to be a bit more obsessive when it comes to chores being done.

My t-shirts,sweaters/hoodies, and pants are all hung up. Why? Because truthfully, I am not that good of folder, and I find they get creases and really wrinkly sitting in a drawer. Hanging up I can also see exactly what shirts they are without unfolding and me, being lazy, not wanting to fold them back up.

My socks, underwear and sweatpants, I fold up and put in drawers.

What about socks? I usually throw the lot in one basket and find matches as needed.
