Once I was on a smoking sabbatical and was in the back seat of this guy's car and he and his friend were taking bonghits and hotboxing the car and I got pretty blazed just from the second hand smoke. Granted it was a lighter high but lasted a while. The amount of smoke escaped from the bowl was negligible.

You are rebreathing smoke! Of course it gets you higher. Have you ever sat in a car with the windows up, and no air coming in the vents for an hour or so? Did you get high?

Man, I wish I could smoke a few bowls in my car with you while you just sat there. You would get high.

People in Mass call it fishbowling. In Hawai'i it was "chambering out."
