OK I have a bit of a situation regarding MJ and the girlfriend, she doesn't like it at all, and she doesn't think i smoke it. In fact i said i never would (before I started). Anyway I have been smoking for a little bit, and I'm talking to her on the phone when she suddenly says "I've heard you've been smoking weed regularly, is it true?" Then me, like an absolute dumbass, denies everything (well I don't smoke regularly, but thats beside the point). This was a few hours ago, now I feel like the worlds biggest prick for lying to her. I don't think shes entirely sure, but I'm going to tell her tomorrow anyway I've decided. I don't know why I denied it in the first place, it was so sudden I suppose I felt a bit threatened or something. Anyway what should I do? I think the telling her thing is a given, but do I have a chance? I really love this girl, and I'm shitting bricks thinking about what shes going to say. Any advice? And yes I know I'm a bastard, I don't need to be told.

Let her know why you smoke and what it truly means to you. If she doesn't like it, that's her personal problem and not yours. And STOP lying.

I was once that girlfriend. Just let her know the scientific proofs and what it means to you. Eventually she may come around. I was a hardass once but then I saw it for what it is and can be and I can't judge.

From what I know about girls, except for the radical few who have ill-founded opinions about weed, the thing they hate the most is to be lied to. Instead of trying to hide it, I told my g-friend straight away that I was puffing again. Now I grow it in our closet, and she still doesn't smoke it.

Just be honest with her, show your vulnerable side, let her know that you still have loads of attention to pay to her, and in the short term be reliable and sharp so she knows that notwithstanding your habit, you can be the kind of b-friend she wants

I've said in the past that i'd never quit tokin for a girl, but i would quit to get my ex back. If she'll leave you because you smoke, then quit only if you love her.
