after an intense salvia tripp i was inspired to write about it, but i just couldnt put it into words because it was something not of this world. i tried making a poem to give a vague description of it...tell me what you think:
something is present
a giant void in life
a gaping hole in reality
stretching farther and farther.
when all is consumed
will reality end?
what is reality?
simply a state of mind.
earth will be enveloped
by a state of mind
and the hole will keep stretching.
the world becomes darker
but through the darkness a tingling light shines,
and flows from it acceptance of no more
reality, what is real?
colors? shapes? emotions?
all states of mind.
all can be overcome
by this widening gapwrapping itself around
the lifeless form of reality
like a hungry amoeba.
as humans, in this
winding, curving cycle
realize your eventuality
make life a reality
to yourself.
to all else i am a picture.
a simple name linked to a face,
a body,
a petsonality.
stored in the proteins of the mind and the machine.
we are fragments of time,
and our building blocks of life will collapse
like the great aztec empire.
the spears and swords
of our minds may fight,
but the tear in our cycle
will destroy our minds
destroying our reality.
